For every translation that I post, I require that at least one comment be made. If I don't receive comments then I assume no one read the posts, then I don't translate. I don't have any requirements for what the comments should contain. It could be a thank you, a smiley, a period, I don't care, as long as there's a comment.

Since the jrock and lolita translations are generally for two different audiences, I require that they each separately get comments, meaning that if someone comments on a Versailles translation, then I will continue translating more Versailles or other jrock things. If no one comments on the lolita posts but I get comments for the jrock posts, then I will continue translating the jrock only until someone comments on the last lolita post.

Subject: Ai to Kanashimi no Nocturne
It looks like there are a lot of people who think the bonus 「ring guitar」 that came with the single 「ASCENDEAD MASTER」 is the intro for 「Ai to Kanashimi no Nocturne」 ne(>_<)

A more appropriate explanation is that they were created around the same time and the 「ring guitar song」 and 「Ai to Kanashimi no Nocturne」 had their own two different intros but、I took a good thing、and combined them to become one song。

If you listen carefully to things like the tempo and the key and the progression and the arrangement the differences are obvious ne。


Furthermore the melody part of the second half of the 「ring guitar song」 is the intro I made for 「The Revenant Choir」 when we formed。

Though in the end only the guitar riffs were used for 「The Revenant Choir」(>_<)

As it is I thought it would be regrettable to put a seal on it so it turned out to be revived as a 「ring guitar」。

So within me there's a feeling of "wearing" it as a 「ring guitar」(laugh)

Subject: Secret revealed。



Konbanwa！

It's become known in interviews and such、and I think I already wrote about it on my blog too but、
the artwork for the jacket of our debut album 「Jubilee」 was designed by me。

Last year in the beginning of December I wrote about a "great task" which was about the jacket design ne(>_<)

I think there are a lot of people who know but、from a mind and heart point doing things like drawing the design、doing creative things is something I loved。

So it's not just 「musician＝artist」 but maybe an artist by nature ne。

This time for 「Jubilee」 the feelings are very strong、and altogether I spent almost three weeks on it。

To create something that doesn't lose to the songs compiled on here is not easy。

Since it was progressing at the same time as the sound mixing、it was tough to change my brain between "music" and "design" ne。

In proportion to the music slowly coming together、endless inspiration opened up from the "sound"、and changing from that mindset was the most difficult but、I felt the joy of the kind of artist that can exceed that。

Like the [music's] image、since the jacket artwork has an expected visual image to go with the music、for that I faced a sense of responsibility ne。

The angel on the front cover has various meanings that come from me personally。
I'll leave the interpretation to you but there's a deep gratefulness also。

I had to be as strict as I could with myself to compromise and leave things out、so finally it turned out to be a work of consent。


So I'd really like you to get this album。
Listen carefully、and I feel you should also look carefully。

I was able to get lost in the mysteriousness of each of the lyrics's story so I think this a work that's interesting。





It's in the postscript but、aside from 「Ascendead Master」 I designed all our previous works(>_<)

In the credits part of each work's jacket 、where it says the art director is named 「wait a minutes」 is me。

The direct translation of 「wait a minutes」 is 「sukoshi o-machi kudasai」 but、at the time my favorite phrase was 「chotto matte kudasai yooo～」 so it because this name(laugh)

I was undertaking designs for other artists besides Versailles so there may a work near you that was designed by me ne。


For the artwork that was done by me、I wonder if it changes the way you look at the work？(>_<)

It turned out to be a pretty good work didn't it(laugh)

At any rate please look forward to it☆

When I think back、around from 2009 fall～winter resuming working on the debut album 「Jubilee」 it was a necessary time to delve deep into the "inside"。

Subject: Fw:Shibuya O-East
Thank you to those who we received at the Jasmine You- Memorial Ceremony-。

I think the large crowd of people、and the kankeisha who came for us were there happily for us。


We didn't have any lives for a while、even though we regained the live feeling it took a long time after all na。
Then、the vocal reverb coming out of the moniter is a fatal thing and it came out so I didn't get the rhythm at all for the first half！
I finally recovered from the 4th song、which is really unexcuseable。

But、I think we were sending our spirits to You-kun。Watching Matenrou Opera and Kaya-kun also、I felt different spirits than usual。
Even the audience、I'm happy that everyone was watching us with pure feelings。

Tears of sadness aren't flowing anymore。If we stopped forever we could anger You-kun na。
Besides it's something we'll never forget、forever Versailles bass Jasmine you but、we have to continue forward。
The album the 5 of us made is going to come out very soon but、firstly 「thank you」。


From now going towards the tour is a mountain of a subject、so I'll be going totally immersed in the music lifestyle。


Then, please stop overdoing it and pushing to come to the front ne。I'm worried about the tour...
We also have to put in more effort to make the venue come together as one but、I ask for everyone's cooperation too。
